Bowdoinhammer - Week of May 20th to the 26th

Hi Bowdoinhammer,

Maybe it’s just me, but did you blink and now there’s leaves on the trees and humming birds everywhere? It makes me want to go out and do stuff.

Speaking of green things and doing stuff: there’s going to be a plant sale at the Recycle Barn on Saturday. The proceeds go to help with the operation costs of this Bowdoinham tradition.

Here are some other highlights for this week:

  1. The Bowdoinham Public Library and the National Digital Equity Center want to teach you how to get your TV shows and phone service through anything other than the evil cable cabal on Monday.

  2. Pickleball will be outside because there will be a meeting on Wednesday to educate the public on the new Comprehensive Plan. They’ll have the answers to your questions (about the plan, not pickleball).

  3. There’s a Planning Board meeting, School Board meeting, and a Guilt-free Book Club meeting, on Thursday. It’s like a choose-your-own adventure.

  4. Other than the plant sale Saturday, the Tyler Schoen Exhibit will show one more time. After looking at some art, have Janna DeWan show you how to make a coffee mug!

There’s some more information about these and other events down below, so keep scrolling.
