DST and the power of Pickleball.

Oh Bowdoinhammer,
The problem with the start of Daylight Saving Time is that it seems to speed the days up. It FEELS like we just got up a couple of hours ago and it’s already 3:30 in the afternoon. What can you do to make the day go by slower?
We played Pickleball on Wednesday over at the Bowdoinham Community School gymnasium. There was an excellent turnout, and we had a lot of fun. As the activities wore down our winterized bodies, time seemed to slow down then. Maybe that’s the answer to slowing time down: Pickleball with your neighbors. Perhaps any community event can do that, not just Pickleball?
If you’re free on Wednesday nights, between 4:30 and 8:00 PM, you should roll by the Community School Gym with your clean sneakers and a willingness to be sore in the morning. We might see you there!
