I left my heart in Bowdoinham

Bowdoinhammer - Week of February 12th to the 18th

Hey there,

Did you know that Bowdoinhammer loves you? We really do. The area is nice and all, but it’s the people that live her that give it it’s character. Our favorite part of belonging to this town is going out and seeing another Bowdoinhammer in the wild. Even if we don’t know them, we often smile and nod at each other. Do other towns have that kinship?

Dig out your January/February Bowdoinham News, if you haven’t already, and make a plan to place your ❤️ from Merrymeeting Arts Center! There’s never a better opportunity than Valentine’s Day to show your town some love, even if it by putting your heart on your own front door for Bowdoinhammers passing by to see.

Speaking of kinship… you don’t need to be a lady to join the Loose Ladies Book Club. They’ll be discussing a book called “Conditional Citizens: on Belonging in America” by Laila Lalami this Thursday at Merrymeeting Hall (scroll down for info). If that’s too soon for you, they’ll be talking about “Project Hail Mary” by Andy Weir next month (March 21st).
