Bowdoinhammer - Week of February 5th to the 11th.
Happy February Bowdoinhammer,
Did you get a chance to witness any of the smelty festivities this weekend?

We made use of the Valentine Bandit heart that the Merrymeeting Arts Center put in the Bowdoinham News paper. THEN we grabbed a croissant and cup of joe at the Bowdoinham Food Pantry Pop-up cafe (8-10 on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month).
Counterpoint Bread is supplying the croissants for the pop-up cafe, and we gotta say, they’re really killing it. If you haven’t had one yet, you need to get your act together. Email [email protected] and get on his Newsletter list to find out where they’re slinging their pastries and breads. You won’t regret it.
Lets see… what else did we do? We checked out the opening of Ode To Ice And Smelt (Also showing Feb. 10th & 17th, 10am - 2pm) at the Merrymeeting Arts Center, and then we pestered Mark Donovan at the Cathance River Art Gallery and picked up one of his pewter smelt refrigerator magnets.
To finish off our adventures, we put ourselves into a food coma with the Bowdoinham Food Pantry’s Drive-Thru Soup Supper.
Prior commitments forced us to miss the Story Sharing Potluck put on by the Public Library and Community Plate (heard it was sold out), as well as the Dance Party Potluck at Watersong. We were bummed. Did you attend either of these? We’re curious how they went.
The Bowdoinham Country Store’s Pizza Of The Month is a BBQ Chicken Pizza for $19.75, and it’s delicious. We had one on Saturday, and I think it's our new favorite. Go to their Facebook Page or call 666-5571 for more info.
