The Thankful Bowdoinhammer

Bowdoinhammer - Week of November 20th to the 26th.

What are you Thankful for, Bowdoinhammer?

I’ll go first. This year, I’m thankful for…

  • I finally had the gumption to quit a toxic job after almost 20 years, and it couldn’t have happened without the emotional support of my family. The experience taught me to put more value on my mental health and cut out those who don’t value me.

  • I was lucky in that I was able to take the summer off. The kids and I did a whole lot of nothing (watching movies) and it was perfect.

  • I found a better job without really trying.

  • All my loved ones are healthy, and seem to be happy.

  • Last but not least, You. I started the website a little over a year ago, and the Newsletter about 4 months ago. Every time I log into this dashboard to whip something up, there are more of you! The words of encouragement and donations do so much to keep this thing going. All of this growth comes from the word-of-mouth from this tremendous community, and I am truly humbled and thankful.

No, I’m not crying. My eyes are just a little sweaty today.
